Draft Day Reactions: Pat McAfee's NFL Draft Takeaways

Hey there, readers welcome back to another week of Sully's Moments!
This week I’m diving into The Pat McAfee Show breaking down what makes the podcast so effective and who exactly is tuning in to hear Pat’s unfiltered takes.

I chose to listen to The Pat McAfee Show about his reactions to this years NFL Draft. The reason I chose to listen to this podcast was because of his knowledge he has in the NFL, especially because he was a kicker for the Colts in 2009, and that he has a very electric personality when talking about football.

Pat McAfee has a great delivery throughout this podcast when breaking down all of the draft picks that he was excited about. Pat uses a lot of energy when talking, which creates a more fun and funny environment. He also has natural conversations with his co-hosts that sound like regular discussions between sports anchors, which creates a professional tone at points throughout his podcast.

Pat McAfee goes off script a lot and talks about more touchy subjects about players, which I really enjoy. With an increase in volume and jokes throughout his podcast, he is able to effectively talk about these subjects and reel in his co-hosts to give their thoughts on the topic as well.

Using a podcast to talk about the Draft class is very effective because it allows for many people to listen in without having to watch it on TV. Plus Pat using a podcast also allows him to say whatever he wants, so there is a lot more discussed on his podcast compared to him when he is on TV.

The intended audience Pat McAfee has for this podcast specifically was NFL, CFL fans, and people who just enjoy Pat mcAfee. Pat has a very electric/comedic energy that he always brings being on tv or his podcast, and many people like to listen in on him because of how entertaining his delivery is.

NFl and CFL fans are listening to this podcast because of how it's almost 3 hours of him talking about former college football players, who recently got drafted by NFL teams. This causes for a lot of excitement in CFL fans to see their schools start players get selected to even possibly play for their pro team. NFL fans are excited to tune in to this podcast so they can get a better understanding of why the draft went the way it did, plus hwo these players selected by each team will possibly make an impact in the future.

All things taken into account The Pat McAfee Show offers an original and enjoyable perspective on the NFL Draft. This episode shows why Pat's podcast is still so popular with listeners, regardless of whether you're a devoted football fan or simply like his enthusiastic energy and honest opinion. This concludes this weeks post, see you on Sully's Moments next week!
